Transparent pricing with no hidden costs
Our call-out and diagnostic fee structure is straightforward. This price includes the call-out, fault diagnosis, and any service or repair that can be completed within one hour. If parts are required or the job is more extensive, the engineer will provide a clear quote for your approval before proceeding. No surprises, no pressure – just professional service with complete price transparency. (If the work is expected to exceed one hour and you do not wish the engineer to proceed, please inform them immediately.)
Our commercial catering diagnostic fee includes call-out and up to one hour of assessment and fault diagnosis.
Pay one diagnostic fee (call-out + up to 1 hour). If the fix requires parts or additional time, you'll receive clear fixed-price options – no surprises.
Additional time: If the engineer requires time beyond the first hour, we charge in 15-minute increments at the relevant hourly rate, which is the same as the service rate selected for your first-hour booking deposit. (If you do not wish the engineer to proceed, please inform them immediately.)
We operate a booking deposit system of the 1 hour minimum charge via debit/credit card, allowing us to dispatch an engineer to you.
Parts and sundries are quoted separately. Our engineers carry limited stock of parts, materials and supplies on their van. We charge a minimum of £125 (+VAT) for these to be supplied.
Gas catering certificate is an additional £65.00 (+VAT) per appliance. Fixed prices are available for larger jobs and on request.
Any material collection time required is capped at 1 hour charge maximum, with a materials deposit taken when necessary.
All prices are subject to VAT. We hold the right to adjust rates at the point of quotation to reflect current market conditions and regulations.
Authorisation of Works: Where customer approval is provided verbally (including via telephone), this shall constitute full authorisation to proceed with the agreed works. The company reserves the right to record details of such approval, including the time, date, and name of the person authorising the works.
Electronic Authorisation: Approval provided via electronic communication - including SMS, WhatsApp, or email - shall be deemed legally binding authorisation to proceed with the agreed works and associated costs.
Pre-Authorised Parts Limit: To ensure efficient repair and minimise downtime, the engineer is authorised to supply and fit parts up to a value of AMOUNT AGREED ON JOB SHEET (usual options: £250, £500, £750, or £1,000 +VAT) without requiring further approval.
This pre-authorisation applies to all parts required for the repair, whether fitted during the initial visit or ordered and fitted on a subsequent visit. The agreed limit will be clearly stated and recorded on the relevant job sheet. Any parts exceeding this value will require customer authorisation prior to supply and fitting.
